Frequently asked questions

"When will my commission be completed?"
- It generally takes me about a month to finalize a piece, depending on its size. Please give me a poke after 2 weeks of me taking payment if you feel I have misplaced your commission.
"When will I be contacted about the commission?"
- I may or may not choose to take your commission once you send a form in. I don't want to keep people waiting so assume after 3 months that I have passed over your request. However I still may recontact you after that amount of time too.
"How will I be contacted?"
I will make first contact with you on one of your chosen points of contact that you wrote in the form.
"When do you start the commission?"
- The commission will be officially started once I send the invoice and have been paid. Offhand conversations in DMs are difficult to manage and there is a possibility I may misinterpret whether or not you are actually interested in starting.
"When will I be able to pay?"
- I should send a link to the Paypal invoice in your DMs alongside the sent sketch. If not, I will send it when I send the flats.
"Can I post the art you made for me?"
- Yes! You may post it as soon as you like once receiving the final. There are possibilities I may edit the piece after sending it to you however. You may also tag me and I will repost it if I see it.
"When will you post my art?"
- I will often take a large batch of commissions biweekly or monthly. It takes a moment for me to schedule it for upload, especially if there is a months worth of finished work alongside your piece. Expect it to take a couple months.

Incomplete references include; Stitching together traits of many existing images, indistinct/unreadable colors, huge physical changes compared to refs I am given, following a written description of a character. This does not apply to the Reference sheet commissions that I offer.Complexity fees may apply to any edits requested depending on the stage of the piece. You are given two separate opportunities for edits before being charged. Please let me know if you want multiple changes at once. I would prefer if you request edits during the flats stage or earlier. I will end up adding a varying fee depending on the size of the next edit. If the edit is large I will add a fee but will warn you of this. Normally the edit fee will not be more than half the price of the total commission.Once the piece has been deemed completed no more edits can be made without further charges. I may also deny further edits after the piece has been completed due to existing workload and complexity of edits.Poses and concepts created during your commission may be reused for other art I make later.
